I came across this hidden gem while searching for lunch near Saldanha. To my surprise, it's a charming bookstore with an impressive collection of rare books. I truly enjoyed my time here, browsing through a plethora of books, and the ambiance captivated me as well. If you're a book enthusiast, I highly recommend considering this bookstore as a must-visit place in Lisbon.

After visiting many bookshops in the city and not finding much in english in my interests I actually found something here. That was an old book of the thousand and one nights, in a language of great style and decided to buy it just in case I ever read it some time. It is an addition to my collection in any case. Prices were not cheap, but the store was well organized and had lots of sections. A very good used books store.

Purchased an expensive rare book gift for a friend. It turned out to have several missing pages. The rude owner did not accept it back claiming he sold it complete! Moreover, my friend found it quite overpriced and with several not mentioned restorations. I am considering a lawsuit...

Nice secondhand bookstore with many sculptures

Definitely a hidden gem. They found a rare history book for me and got it in the store later the same day. A+
